I'm optomistic about the DL deal. However, I echo the thoughts of other posters when I point out China's notorious history of using so-called joint ventures and quasi acquisitions to gain access to, and then copy/steal, technological IP. They also have an ongoing history of demanding IP from companies who want access to their vast markets. A simple Google search tells you everything you ever wanted to know and should consider.

Fingers crossed that POET's legal eagles and executives have anticipated as much, and have their Is dotted and Ts crossed.
