Without knowing the first thing about quantum computers, what PoetPower posted is most unlikely in my view, given everything we've seen over the past half dozen years or so.
Although I suspected it at the time, I have long since highly suspected that a significant rift had developed between GT and the rest of management at POET. Remember, first he resigned his directorship, and the dreamers on this board indicated that was because he was so busy disrupting the world that his time was better spent working rather than directing. And that was the reason given by the company, well, c'mon, everyone, that's no better than the knee causing him to retire. Just an explanation, for what otherwise would have been embarassing, and, of course, devastating to GT's devotees on this board.
Sula, after PET was apparently abondoned years ago, you persisted with the stealth plans with it. Now, when not only do they tell us, but it also appears without being told, that GaAs is tougher than they thought, you won't let go of that.
Recently, I've emphasized where we are now with DL and BB, cuz all clues tell us that that's all we got right about now. Again, they have told us and what we have experienced both tell us that Poet is waiting for a strategic (money) partner for the GaAs. Not really much to talk about there for now, when and if we get one, well then the time to talk will be upon us and plenty of talk there will be!
My hope for the share price this week was as the result of a few folk finding out for the first time what we have, and having those same folk by some stock. Wouldn't take much money to move the needle.
