Much can be hidden using one's health as an excuse. From what I have been able to find, Dr. T is still on staff at U. Conn so I highly doubt his departure was due to failing health. I was sceptical of the reason given at the time and now I'm almost positive his departure was due to their desire to take Poet in a different direction.

I don't believe GT is handcuffed to any NDAs at this point, so if what you say is true, he should without repurcussion be able to disclose this to an interviewer.
