Here's my take on the 'competition' matter, simplistic as it may be.

Pessimistically one could say the if other companies employed the same stealth mode as we see from POET, then there is a likelihood that a competitive technology or methodology is in fact being developed without anyone's knowledge.

However, POET has taken the steps to protect it's work with the filing and issuance of patents. I don't believe patents would be issued if there was clearly an overlap or an infringement either way. I also believe that if there was work being developed elsewhere that is a different methodology but having similar results I'm sure it would have been discovered thru patent review etc. and furthermore, Dr. T would not have suggested that "all roads lead to POET."

So, for my own mind, I conclude that a competing technology or method does not currently exist but that does not or should not lessen the urgency to gain industry adoption. I believe our management team understands this perfectly.
