it's a typical lawyerly IP risk statement; of course it can be interepreted to cover TEOTWAWKI if necessary: that's how it was designed, as CYA.
quite likely boilerplate. check e.g. ARMH's AIFs, probably something similar there (or in other parallels), except for the cut/paste names used.
not worried.
