If it is that important to you....why don't you do some DD yourself and find out if it is true.
IMO, his ability to steer the transiton of a financially limited R&D based company to monitization requires significant vision & discipline, and if he orchestrated the addition of AM to Poet's BoD and since then helped in securing the additional Directors and his successor, which is leading to partnerships and deals, and the monitization of the Poet Technology, then he should be compensated handsomely. The problem for us at this point is that we don't see all of what is going on behind the curtain. I don't think he is irresponsible, he has shown/demonstrated his passion of seeing Poet succeed. It is unfortunate it is not in the exact timeline expected by the shareholders.
