I think we generally agree that the company's record on press releases (NR) on Milestones is unsatisfactory, from this board's point of view. Now we know that we here represent a significant proportion of shares held. I think its time to clear up just what the company's policy on NR is. As it is clearly a source of retail investor angst.
The current issue lies around just what is meant by the announced date i.e. the end of Q2, or end of June. Some here, like me, accept that the for MS 8 the date is set as a technical team target date, there then follows a period of time for review and approval leading to an announcement a number of weeks later; the additional time being a vagary in itself!
Others take as gospel that an announced date for completion is the date the NR is to be released. Thats fair enough but history shows otherwise with POET. Which gives rise to the potential that something is wrong, a delay, a problem and we understandably get jittery.
I will E Mail CC, (who is not much in evidence these days' mmmmh?) the following text and let you know any outcome:
Could you please clarify, or reiterate, what retail investors expectations should be regarding pre announced dates for completion.
Currently there is an expectation that an announced date for completion will result in a News Report (NR) close to that date. Consequently any delay in the relevant NR beyond the announced date results in anxiety for many retails investors and speculation why there should be a delay.
This concern could be easily clarified if you would spell out the Company's policy and process for releasing news reports related to pre announced dates for completion.
Currently MS 8 and Pelligrino 2 were pre announced for the end of June.
