Agree with your comments. But would respectfully not refer to it as "greed". Would suggest a Trust Fund be setup, seeded initially by equity shares with ongoing royalties paid in annually, managed and administered by ROF First Nations (ie people like J P Gladu who actually is a Noront BOD member and was President & CEO at the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business), the purpose of which would to create generational economic support for all ROF First Nations. Those FNs whose territory the mine(s)will be on would be provided the opportunity for a separate and additional equity ownership. Procurement, mining jobs and businesses would be First Nation owned and operated where qualified initially with the prospect of full ownership when the infrastructure and experience allows.
This concept I think meets all the guidelines in Jason Rasevych's proposal. One thing I think all parties agree on. There will be enough $$ and prosperity to go around and think that if actual potential $$ numbers were presented the propserous stark reality for all would lessen the distrust and apprehension.
