They could only be saying that the chromite they used for gathering data for the patent is from the Ring.

I on the other hand am confused. Why make the statement. Is chromite from the Ring that much different from chromite from the rest of the planet that it needs distinguishing. I doubt it very much.

My sarcasm says that KWG is trying to sneak a blanket cover over all the chromite from the Ring so that this chromite could not be processed by other methods.
