Just a minor quibble - surely severance would only be paid if the ONR was shut down, not if ownership changed? I realise Govt fat cats often get severance and are then rehired to the same position, but this doesn't happen for most workers, they simply continue to do their jobs with a new name on the letterheads and payslips.
Does anyone know how difficult it might be to build a RR east from the ROF? This would be across the low ground for a distance, then the Canadian Shield, which is different, being rocky.
Finally, if the permits for the EW road are held up by the local FNs concerns, surely the same will apply to a RR? Especially since this will not directly benefit their communities.
