Wow. I like the idea of an all season road myself. But I think you missed my original post which was purely about hyping problems where they don't yet exist. Not that one shouldn't talk them out before they become problems, but that it should be done dispassionately, not with the emotional baggage that predominates these sites. The original post that I responded to demonstrated a bias and and stereotyping so I pointed this out. People who hold the same sentiments as that post represented will likely not appreciate what i have to say. I have no problem with that as it is to be expected. As they say, you can't please all of the people all of the time.
