I agree. I've had TD for years here in US and when I started buying into Canuck junior miners I didn't know enough to know the differences in the exhanges and currencies or how it worked, other than the broker on the phone told me the US symbol for NOT.V was NOSOF, FNC.V was FNCJF, FRW and so on down the line, so I was buying them that way until I got wiser and have been looking for a way to trade directly on the .V exchange not only for currency reasons but also for liquidity, as the volumes on the OTCBB are a far cry from the .V.

We had a discussion on this board a few weeks ago about this very topic I was looking for help and some knowledgeable posters pointed me towards some different online accounts that could suit my needs, however I don't think my Roth and SEP IRA's can be held/maintained by a foreign company.
