The intricacies of trading foreign stocks are well beyond my pay level!

All I know is that when Toronto is closed, my broker Chas. Schwab, cannot make the trade for me thru Toronto because they're closed. I spoke with them a few minutes ago to be certain. And when you do trade, be certain that you ask for a real time quote through their Global Desk. Otherwise you may get the previous day's quote! The OTCBB is tricky, indeed.
