"As pointed out in Misk's last post, at least 2 Major members of NOT's new BOD are associated with Barrick...The new BOD is keeping exceedingly quiet on developments at NOT, unusually so for BOD who should be promoting their Company at every turn....as far as I'm concerned it is " a potential and plausable scenerio"...."
And if it is as you say, I would fear for anyone who got in at higher prices as they'll never see the healthy price that posters have been bandying about over the last months. $10/share would simply be pipe dreaming and $6 or $7 would be the most one could hope for. It wouldn't surprise me to see $5 offered. White Knights of course could up the numbers but I don't see any hope for 10 plus in these times and with the possible tactics that may be in the works that we are locked out of. It would in fact be advantageous for a take out to occur before any real numbers are known as this would avoid any suspicion of monkey business by any regulatory groups. It would indeed attract attention if a company worth $40 dollars a share was sold for $5. It therefore strikes me that something could likely occur as much sooner than later. Again these are just thoughts, impressions and speculation. We'll know when we get there.
