No doubt, a people left VB prematurely, took a little money and ran. But, the sea change of world conditions since VB are as compelling as the physical similarities to McFaulds. Namely: instantaneous dissemination of operatioal and financial data; keen awareness of and access to resource pricing data; the asian 'demand pull' on resource prices; mining no longer a second rate pasttime; $200+billion majors keenly looking for world class deposits; TSX disclosure and Sarbox rules; keen international individual investors looking for resource investments in Canada; the 43-101 resource audit that takes the data risk out of the investment decision; and an exceptional shareholder oriented management. So, the advances from a risk management view at the investor end are not only compelling, they are OVERWHELMING. So for those mired in the angst of Bre-x and cash-cost theory of mineral prices, you need to do a lot more reading. If anything distinguishes NOT, it may be the most significant deposit yet in the post 200 world. It won't be given away.
