Voisey’s Bay : 1993 Prospecting discovery made by Archean Resources in late 1993 of a well exposed gossan, now known as Discovery Hill. Voisey’s Bay : 1994 A surface electromagnetic (EM) survey carried out in 1994 outlined an excellent 1,200m long bedrock conductor. Based on these results, a limited five-hole diamond drill program ensued in October 1994. All five diamond-drill holes intersected mineralization, with drill hole VB-94-02 intersecting a 41.2m zone of semi-massive to massive sulfide grading 2.96% Ni, 1.89% Cu & 0.16% Co. Voisey’s Bay : 1995 By July 1995, a major near surface deposit had been outlined in the area designated as the Ovoid, and immediately to the west, the Discovery Hill Zone was also delineated. Voisey’s Bay : 1996 The Eastern Deeps Deposit was outlined by December 1996 by 65 holes drilled over a strike length of 1,100m Voisey’s Bay : 1996 The Reid Brook Zone was discovered in January 1997 while testing geophysical conductors in the extension of the host troctolitic dyke west of the Discovery Hill Zone. The present reserves and resources, including measured, indicated and inferred categories, now stands at 136.7 millions tones grading 1.59% Ni, 0.85% Cu and 0.09% Co. 
Double Eagle : 2007 Diamond Drilling started on August 24, 2007 on company’s Double Eagle project in James Bay Lowlands. Double Eagle : 2007 Stock halted on Sept. 7, 2007 & on Sept. 10, 2007 Hole NOT-07-01 partial assay results gave 36 meters averaging 1.84% nickel, 1.53% copper Double Eagle : 2007 By December 2007 Noront has completed 5,047 meters of diamond drilling in 27 drill holes. Current drill results include 117 meters grading 4.1% nickel, 2.2% copper, 2.1 grams per tonne platinum, and 7.1 grams per tonne palladium beginning 7 meters below the surface. Double Eagle : 2008 Several airborne anomalies, with geophysical attributes similar to the Eagle One occurrence have been identified. These anomalies are located to the south and west of the Eagle One occurrence as well as to the northwest, all within 5 kilometers of Eagle One. Double Eagle : 2008 Drilling resumes with 2 more drills named “June” & “Jonny”
