PTSC was on its' death bed before the joint venture. We were losing money fighting Moore and TPL over ownership rights over the three patents that really make the MMP. PTSC had to do something, and they did......out of haste. They avoided BK and possibly having to sell the patents at auction. There is no way we could have sustained the litigations on our own. Nor, would we have survived the most recent assaults on the patentability issues.
I was ignorant of the proceeds Patriot gained from granting TPL/Alliacense exclusive marketing rights. But $10 million dollars and shared profits from licensing sounds mo' betta' than the $7 million offered to Patriot for the outright sale of its' interest.
I would sure appreciate a candid interview with Mr. Goerner. This company completely fell apart on his departure.
