I do not believe these types buy .00001 percent of a company and become a shareholder activist for the good of all shareholders. They become large shareholders because they see where they can make huge profits by doing so. IMO shareholder activism is part of the plan going into the investment strategy not some afterthought because they made a mistake with the investment they chose.
But if I'm mistaken, about any of the above, please correct me.
