Do you think a 10 ton piece of grading equipment can afford to stop less quickly than a VW Bug? Have you worked with any of the sophisticated peices of equipment that are used in construction? While they may not have the same electronics requirements as my BMW, they are certainly MUCH more sophisticated than you are characterizing them.

Additionally, the parallel that stillpoint made is of the overall cost of the piece of equiepment versus the cost of the MMP tech it includes. Certainly, an auto, even one as sophisticated as a BMW, has costs that are largely predominately based on non MMP components. So I think your ridiculous characterization is, well, ridiculous.
