Agree with the gist of your post. Caterpillar MMP expectations based upon annual revenue were way out of whack compared to previous estimated PDS revenue predictions.

Many Cat products are probably $50,000-$100,000 to $200,000 in price with the annual volume being very small. Microprocessor content would be just a tiny percentage of each unit sold. I do appreciate Lambert's estimates as they are and have been useful in many cases.
