Huge companies like HP have their own beaurocracies and move slowly somtimes. Perhaps PTSC was just in the right place at the right time to acquire Crossflo. Maybe RG knew someone there which gave PTSC a leg up on acquiring them.

Perhaps they were just too small for the likes of HP?

Perhaps they believed that Goerner could give them a better return with the issue of $7.4M in Patriot Scientific stock?

Perhaps it had something to do with the convertible promissory notes from May 30 and August 8, 2008 secured by substantially all the assets of Crossflo?

One thing for sure, there will always be a regular regurgitation of FUD.
