This link gives the same information, but it's interesting to note the heading that gives their interpretation of the same news, e.g. that just before quoting Minister Rickford: "Federal Government Demanding Details". This was apparently in response to the Prov's complaints about the Feds not specifically mentioning funding for the RoF in their recent budget. So, Mininister Rickford said something along the line: "we have the money, show us your money and we'd match it using the fund (in $Billions)set aside in the Economic Plan 2014". This is putting the pressure on Premier Wynne to put up the money for the RoF in her next Prov budget. If she did (or didn't) then either way the Prov Conservative Party (Hudak) would pound on it and unveil his own plan (with the backing of the Feds, of course).

Sounds like there is a game being played by the politicians with RoF as a soccer ball, until at least Spring time in Ontario with the budget defeated and an election called.

But regardless of all this, money will be available for the RoF infrastructure.

Just my take of the situation.
