You are absolutely correct. The reason they cut the sample in half is to retain evidence. If you were in the process of selling this company to Goldcorp, for example, they may want to verify your findings before shelling out a LOT of money. This gives them the ability cut the remaining cores in half again (to retain further sampling for future whatever) and verify what is in the ground. It may also be for any company who purchased Golden to test the samples to see where the "honey spots" are that will give them the best return for the dollar so they get that debt or share financing etc. paid off as quickly as possible. If this has not been entirely modeled by Golden beforehand (due to some sampling done by previous management, for example), then they can do their own testing to ensure they are in the best mineralization for start up. This can be done in the same timeframe that it would require to get permits in place, get the roads upgraded (paved with ????) and get whatever mill they are going to use on site and ready for operation... and get all those Quebecer's ready to work in the new mine.

Now, as far as not sending in the VG part of the core, you would have to "blame" the conservatism of Mr. Tilsley for that one, if I remember correctly. He does not want this play to be "pumped" in any way, as the ore body will stand by itself. If the core was cut at a 90 degree angle to what it was and sent in, you would see that sample change significantly. That is what Mr. Tilsley is trying to avoid, the "appearance" of very high grade intercepts, as that is not the kind of deposit this is. It is a nuggety deposit and the nuggets may be a couple of meters apart or maybe wider. Mr. Tilsley is proving up that there is substantial nuggets in this deposit, enough to make it a viable mine. When he proves up his theory and we show the market that we indeed DO have HUGE tonnage that has nuggets throughout it, then we will be off to the races and Mr. Tilsley will have accolades heaped on him for his integrity, both by us and by the eventual purchaser of our claims...

God Bless all Golden Investors.

Herb
