An interesting article via FT about Kinder Morgan's corporate structure, where they have formed an MLP.

This should remind one of income trusts which were squashed by the conswervatives.

Golden Band appears very similar, except cash flow has not been established after four years of commercial production.

Though I would have said that income trusts are probably the best vehicle for gold miners.
