Sounds good but the government recognized by the USA isn't Maduro. Citgo is under control of his opposition and he is campaining on them losing Citgo. We all know it isn't true but that is the narritive. The opposition could settle but given Maduro's track record they would be jailed for losing Citgo. The opposition is in a no win situation.

Like I said there are so many behind the curtain things going on the simple settlement to save Citgo which should have been done long ago. Politicans saving themselves over doing the smart thing shouldn't surprise anyone.
