I disagree. It was Chavez that screwed us not Maduro which really doesn't matter. Maduro continued the efforts not to pay until the US and other countries recoginsed Guaido as the legitamite presedent of VZ. Since 2019 the opposition has been in control of PDVSA and would have been responsible for making a deal with Crystallex to settle.

There is lots of blame to go around but it doesn't all fall to Maduro. The fact he is hindering a settlement with threats to jail the opposition in charge of PVDSA doesn't help.
