Crystallex International Corporation is a Canadian-based gold company with a successful record of developing and operating gold mines in Venezuela and elsewhere in South America
I just re-read the article and am wondering if I'm the only forum member who thinks that it makes a really stupid point of trying to assign 'blame' to those in VZ gov who allowed this or that with respect to CITGO or PDVSA or whatever?
The blame rests completely and squarely in Meduro's lap; no one else. He stole the assets of Crystallex, et al., in a brazen criminal act of Communist nationalism and the Court held him and his regime accountable. VZ refused to compensate KRY, et al., so now the settlement will be extracted from them in the only way possible. This article is therefore a bunch of silly noise after the game is over on Monday morning.
