Crystallex International Corporation is a Canadian-based gold company with a successful record of developing and operating gold mines in Venezuela and elsewhere in South America
brit, in my mind GG (or another major) would be out of thier mind not to do it...for a couple hundred mil they could have access to a major resource (albeit a couple years away) that would increase thier P&P (from day one) dramatically...worst case, the investment is at least partially backed up by arbitration..sounds like a pretty secure bet to me..as far as the russians go, i dont see any money that hugo brings in going anywhere but to the public. actually, i'd be suprised if the russians were dumb enough to give hugo anything come august..i'm sure they are looking at him possibly being gone as well, hence the bi-lateral agreement...
EZ, i dont know that kry is in a position to dictate "hardball terms"..if we partnered with a GG and a couple years down the road had 50% of a producing LC with a friendly govt under the current MOC/MOA i'd be one happy camper..
GW and wookie, kry is a publicly traded company which means ownership transfers on a daily basis...if GG partnered (or even bought outright as a wholly owned subsidiary)) kry, i dont see how the ownership would actually change... it's still a majority held public company...these guys (and thier lawyers) get paid for this type of deal....and if anyone in management has said differently, please let me know....if they could'nt figure a way around that, then i'd sell tomorrow....
at worst, GG could become a new bondholder with earnings related rewards...if these guys cant figure that out then they are too f'n stupid to stay in business anyway..imo
the fact is that kry has a contract for 20mil oz of gold and the market cap is around $70mil... i know guys that have personally owned businesses cleaning toilets worth more than that...
imo (for what it's worth) we are on the ropes.... it's time to bite someones ear off. if kry had filed arbitration a year ago it would be different but given the current situation..i say we put up a for sale sign....or at least a "for rent" sign...
