Crystallex International Corporation is a Canadian-based gold company with a successful record of developing and operating gold mines in Venezuela and elsewhere in South America
If kry's contract and arrangement is the way of the future and is in good standing, why not just give the boot to Grz(cancell the concession) and let kry get on with things? Seems that the Vens are saying something different the way it is treating someone that is supposedly in good standing and what we thought was the way of the future in mining in this backward country.
The reason I believe VZ hasn't given GRZ the boot is that are looking for GRZ to make a mistake so that they can cancel the concession without paying a large damage claim. I think taking away the 2 small concessions, not meeting with GRZ to move the process forward, asking for the technical data and the change to the gold sale law are all reasons that may make GRZ file for arbitration.
VZ is looking for anything that can be used in court against GRZ. They want GRZ to file so it isn't VZ firing the first shot. The minute GRZ files there is ZERO chance of a settlement with GRZ. I believe that VZ will claim a breach by GRZ with holding the technical data.
I don't see VZ worrying about starting Brias right away. LC is the project that they want up and running. It is a far superior property and has much more value. The question then becomes how does KRY get the go ahead without strengthening GRZ's arbitration case. This only happens if GRZ files before KRY get the go ahead.
I could be way off base and KRY could be falling in the same stink hole as GRZ but I don't think so. I don't think KRY filing for arbitration should it come to that will stop VZ and KRY from reaching an agreement but I am certain GRZ is done with VZ.
I would tend to agree with you about the way KRY is being treated except the bad treatment all goes away if KRY is in the loop and knows what is happening. These last 2 projects were supposed to be completed last fall around the same time as RML made their bid for GRZ. I have no idea why the projects took till now to complete unless they were intentionally delayed hoping that RML would take over GRZ before the 6 months time frame was up.
It is all speculation but I have a very hard time believing this has all been coincidence.
