So what you are saying is if the resolution fails, which would show some dissagreement with Chavez leadership among Venezuelan citizens, this will help us?

A defeat could cause fluctuation in the PPS, but I do not believe this would be very much fluctuation either way. What changes the price is a permit or a resolution with clarity.

To think a Chavez defeat would be a windfall for us, one would have to be in the Chavez is causing all of our problems camp. We also have: Bungaling beaurocrats in charge of mining and ecology scenario. We also have a miner's union causing problems scenerio. We have indiginous peoples problem scenario. We have bumbling beurocrats that cannot ratify a mining law if their lives depended on it scenario, legal issues concerning previous mining companies, assorted impending treaty violations against Venezuela and upcoming possibility of lawsuits against the KRY corperation scenario, etc.

So after you consider all of the possibilities probibilities or a combination of some or all of the possibilities, the Chavez referendum may not be so importiant to our situation allthough it is definitly a threat to the way we are accostomed to doing business. Without a complete reversal by Chavez back to an western economic model based on trade or a serious coup by moderate and anti-socialist Venezuelan citizens I do not see any quick change.

Some resolution will come to our situation soon either way and Chavez will still be in power at that time, unless he is deposed. One would hope that either he will come to his senses and realize he is going to need a lot of help or someone more sensible assumes his role as President.
