Got a couple minutes right now....I haven't been before but I agree with lone star, it seemed fairly positive. Was there anyone else from here there...I met Lonestar, but none of us were exactly advertising that we are part of AGoracom… Elmer was pretty clear that he doesn't really like these boards because of a lot of misinformation - i'd rather just talk to you on the phone and give you information from the horses mouth. I agree with him but at the same time find this valuable because there are some really solid investors I have learned a lot from in the last seven years and developments that are often post it on here that are very applicable to our company ... you just have to learn people and separate the bumpers and bashers from the levelheaded investors.
The slideshow emphasized that there is Lots of space for new producers with depleting copper mines and increased copper demands… The charts sure seem to suggest copper should be flying in the next couple years. Most majors are learning though that they need to be more responsible with acquisitions.
Carmax...not totally sure, but seems like the NR was more due to logistics for cuu to publish numbers...Carmax still can but the gov agencies say we can't unless some reports are filed? Perhaps someone else can clarify I didn't quite get it all. The impression I got was that this was not a big deal and things would be corrected fairly quickly.
Teck keeps spending money on us when money was tight, and have given us more recognition since march. This is optimistic as most of us think. I asked Elmer if there was a fear of being sandbagged… He said as long as we keep doing what we are doing ( optimization studies) and show that this is an economical mine then if they do not have a production decision we can push them to make that decision because the JV has done all that is reasonable for this decision to be made
Gotta go again, Sorry for formatting, i'm on a cell phone here
Cheers
