CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
We often hear or read that it takes a long time to analyse the data and come up with a buyout or partner scenario, and I think that is a very valid comment.
But one thing to remember is that Teck did agree to the 120 days timeline-timeframe-deadline, when the whole option contract/paper was written years ago so they have not been caught with there pants down. Teck is not new at this, and they should have known that 120 days was not achievable.
Then again there are hundreds of possibilities of what exactly is going on between Teck, CUU and whoever else.
