Yes, we should help Teck out - but to what extent do you help them more than you help your own shareholders?
So how do you suggest they help shareholders Jay? Do you just give them a hard and fixed deadline and tell Teck to shove it even when they are in the middle of negotiations? What if they are neg. in good faith and the partner(s) Teck is bringing in is getting their financial affairs in order for a buyout? What if an agreement has been reached and all that remains is the legal paperwork to get done and signed off? Do you still tell them to shove it after the 120 days passes?
We just don't know what stage they are at now but I'm sure that ES and management must have good reason to extend this delay. They have more at stake in this than all of us so let's cut them some slack imo and let them do what they have to do to get this done. I'm impatient as the next guy here as I've been in this for over 5 years. At this point, imo, waiting a few more days or weeks is not going to make much difference. They all know what's at stake here and how the days are counting down for this exploration season.
