As a US citizen, I take no pleasure in suggesting the Canadian course of action which I do. However, Canada has the resource. Why should Canada be constrained in serving their own national economic interests. Further, for such to be self inflicted if Canada permits such to become the case, would be economically suicidal. If the US wishes to place all of their eggs in one basket by establishing a "go for broke" policy with respect to alternative energy, there is no reason all nations should deny their resource options and strengths. What the US does not want, many others will be happy to acquire.

The best response to an arrogant customer is to develop ones alternative options!
