Interesting observations:
1. the article is written by our "friend" Alonso Soto (OK, OK)
2. the contents of the draft constitution has not been leaked out and yet only 41% polled said they would support that document.
3. Soto's conclusion is that indicates Correa lacks the support needed to pass the consitution.
Well, it all depends on if you look at the glass as half full or half enpty. Isn't it? To me, if 41% of the population voted on blind faith I would say that's pretty solid support. The remaining 9%+ required to win a 50%+ majority should not be that hard to get if the document is sensible. Isn't it?
Let's just hope a set of favourable mining laws would be part of that package.
