Taking profits when they are there is never a bad idea, as they tend to evaporate later and pigs get slaughtered. After a big run is a good time to do it but I never seem to get it quite right as it is hard to be a good trader. Buy and hold however does not seem to work in this market. I am trying to learn and sometimes it hurts. LOL
