Intellectual Licenses for Electronics & Communications
-The gang of 22 are stretching to find a plausible defence, they've thrown out everything and anything they can think of -- including the kitchen sink. [Desparate people do desparate things.]
-Wi-LAN has a SOLID case, which will be argued by one of the BEST legal teams in the WORLD. This legal team (managed by one of the BEST management teams in the coutry and headed by a RENOUNED CEO - you all know who) seems very confident they will be able to convince the judge/jury to grant Wi-LAN an INJUNCTION, followed by a total settlement in excess of a BILLION dollar -- including healthy punitive damages.
-There has been a great injustice committed against this company and its founders, and the defences filed so far indicates to me these people are still hard at it. [Too bad for them, because the price they will end up paying could be way too high even for them.]
-Unfortunately, many will fold their hands and pay a smaller price than what they would be facing from the courts. Some may feel bolder and will probably appear to be wanting to go all the way, but they too will fold their hands because they know they have NO hope in hell to beat it.
-All this is going to make Wi-LAN even stronger and will help the company collect on the remaining 280+ patents it has in its arsenal. So expect MORE lawsuits
-Along the way there will be UP days and DOWN days. During those inevitable DOWN days, the WEAK will be squealing and running for shelter. The ones who have a strong faith in this company will just go about their days whistling with a smile on their face -- knowing full well that the GANG of 22 will lose at the end.
So you've been told. AGAIN and AGAIN. The question is: "Do you have what it takes to be a shareholder in Wi-LAN?"
