Good discussion on this board from all corners.
PMB, last night I was venting. Judge Zties asked me if I was influenced, again, by Sake. No. It was not Sake. Actually I live in an area where Sake is not known or available. I will have to go Atlanta to stock up after visitting the International Poultry Expo.
I will acknowledge again that you have an ability to push my button(s). I have been told those that push your buttons are probably like yourself. Groan.
That being said, I wish to comment on your statement regarding Paul earning his salary.
Not only do I call the company and speak to Paul, I travel to the plant and other areas to see progress and what is going on. I have been on the road at least once a month in the past to see with my own eyes. I have a large stake in this company and it is important for me to monitor what is going on. And, gratefully, I have the flexibility to do so.
In the past couple of years of observing and participating in VytaCorp and BioAgra, I have seen the workload on Paul. It is enormous.
What is on VytaCorp's workload?
Legal issues; patent, corporate, SEC, Harvest Court and DTC litigation, etc.
Scrounging for financing; until BioAgra generates sufficient revenue to start paying for itself and paying VytaCorp back, VytaCorp is footing the bill. The 10Q and 10K indicate that the cost to support both companies is $160,000 per month. Scrounging for that money is not an easy task and takes a lot of time.
Talking to shareholders and investors; I try to limit my calling the company to once a week. Multiply myself by a large number of investors, there are a lot of phone calls going into VytaCorp.
Those are just a few examples of what must be dealt with.
I know at times Paul does not take home a paycheck. He defers it to keep the doors open. When sufficient funds are raised and it does not compromise the company, he is able to get paid, a lot of times less than full wage. It is rough at times for him and his family.
I have loaned the company funds on several occasions in the past year. $50K here and there. Sometimes I have to defer getting my non interest bearing loans repaid to keep the company going. The last note was repaid in full to me a month ago.
Money is tight but we; Paul, myself, and supporters, believe and know that this product is excellent and is a potential giant in sales. So we continue to support this company, all of us, sometimes at great personal sacrifice.
To address your statement of my feeling that AgoraCom is "beneath me". Naw, it is not beneath me. Over the years, I had to examine where my time was spent and I found myself spending an inordinate amount of time on web forums and could see little return for my time, other than brushing up on my spelling and compositional skills.
When VytaCorp and BioAgra have strong news, you can bet your bottom dollar I'll be here. AgoraCom is a fine forum and, for the most part, I like their continuing enhancements.
Otherwise, I try to spend my time on other areas, including visitting the company, which I will do twice this month alone.
Am I bullish on this company?
Very much so. And I feel that the time for testing and product evaluation has been sufficient that now is the time that growing sales may be announced.
I would not be surprised to see sales to other countries. It seems that Beta Glucan is more readily accepted in Europe and Asia. In this stock market environment, global sales are king. The erosion of the US Dollar and fears of US Recession makes global companies more valuable.
We'll see.
Oh, as a side note... GO GOLD!!!
