Reading the well-deserved accolades for Jim V amongst the posts under this thread, one might get the impression that something negative had been conveyed regarding him.

In fact, it is just the opposite. The more valuable Jim is to the companies he leads, then it follows, the more difficult it would be to replace him should the need ever arise. This is not an uncommon problem and usually dealt with by putting in place competent backup personnel and key person insurance.

It is re-assuring to know that some steps have been taken in this regard by UC.

It is a wise man who knows his own strength and knows how to pace himself. Certainly, Jim has proven over the years that he is a wise man in terms of mining, at the least.
