Criminal Complaint Filed Against the
British Columbia Securities Commission
June 14, 2016. Mountainstar Gold Inc. (MSX-CSE) announces that the attorney in Chile, Juan G. Torres, has filed a criminal complaint against BCSC lawyer, Mr. Shawn McColm, Senior Compliance Counsel. Libel is alleged in an 11 page letter issued by Mr. Peter J. Brady on December 16, 2015. On December 16, 2015, the BCSC has taken a position which contradicts the Chilean judicial records, misusing the name of Juan Guillermo Torres and his deposition to the BCSC.
The BCSC maintains the Cease Trade Order against MSX using Mr. Torres' legal evidence against our company. The evidence incriminates Barrick Gold Corp.
Due to the fact that in Canada the BCSC has refused to acknowledge Chilean Court decisions that are adverse to ABX and Pascua Lama, Mr. Torres states that he has no legal option but to seek the depositions or personal appearances of regulators from the BCSC, TSX and OSC so they can explain themselves to Chilean authorities on the matters of violating the injunction C1912-2001 in favour of Barrick Gold Corp.
The reader is advised that a free trade agreement between Canada and Chile was implemented in the first decade of this century. It includes the same powers of subpoena as the Canada/USA Free Trade Agreement that is in place, namely NAFTA.
