You do bring up an excellent point there Miss C, one I didn't consider before.
We know from historical data and news release that the host rock, mostly granodiorite, was mineralized as well to some degree of gold. If these cores were indeed from the Tesoro, and because of a constant and secondary mineralization of gold, these cores should have been split with many sections sampled. Because most of them are not split, as you point out Mrs C, this is inconsistent with historical data and deserves more attention. I believe this core that you see in the photos, is not the real core, and this observation of your only validates my thoughts even more in that direction.
