Sinister, I realize that you are new to the board, so let me explain a few things. Your opinion on what the Chair would or wouldn't have done based on validity is not even close to reality.
Not being allowed into the AGM, I can only tell you what I experienced first hand in the lobby.
High security measures were being enforced due to an alleged phone call from someone threatening to bring a knife. Metal detectors were used on ‘ALMOST’ everyone entering the AGM and a personal body guard was there to protect the CEO. And yet the body guard sat talking to a small group of us while the CEO and Corporate Secretary wandered up and down the hallways giggling like school girls. I even asked him at one point how much us shareholders were paying him, to which he just chuckled. The body guard was totally oblivious as to where she was. At one point, at the end of the meeting, he was actually sent out of the area to get coffee.
‘ALL’ cell phones were to be turned in to security before entering the room, except I recall seeing Jeff come out of the room during a recess talking on a cell phone?
Only registered voters were allowed to attend, they were not even allowing the Green Teams legal council to enter (I wonder how many shares management lawyers had?) It wasn’t until some shares were signed over to them that they were finally let in. But in the same breath, Ms. Whyte came out and told Robert Krause to come in, and he said that he couldn't as he didn't have any shares. Her response was that it didn't matter as he was a director.....the votes were not even disclosed yet??
So if this is what occurred in the lobby, what happened behind those closed doors? Were the rules made to order as they went along? I can’t tell you one way or the other, but what I saw was a far cry from fairness and professionalism.
