Now that i was plesent and said hi i have a question for any one who could answer it

I Phoned RBC where i got my shares from and asked if i had voting control or not. well the lady i talked to from their financial department told me that SLI has to provide me with the right to vote. Is this true or are they giving me the noob investor answer???
