Thought some may find this interesting. Can you imagine us hitting a grade like this! Although its narrow width, I did not check the drill angle or the drill plan of this company, so it could be part of a very high grade vein. My intent is to show that ridiculous grades are out there and its possible we may have some ridiculous grades from our drill results. A grade like this in the anomaly over a couple meters ,would blow up BOWS calculator and the sp would go into the $1000,s. Here it is;
In a single-drillhole press release it announced hole 115 cut as much as 0.6 metres @ 18,755 g/t gold and 9,312 g/t silver.
Thats about 600 oz/t ! $850,000 for the gold + $11,000 for the silver= a $861,000 hole. That probably came from a 1 kg sample giving you about 16 ozs of gold in your hand. So probably over $20,000 of gold collected from this intercept when the hole probably only cost $10,000 to drill. If this was the case in this particular case, you would be paying for your drill program and making money off it besides!
WOW, can you imagine what that kind of a drill plan would do to our sp!
BTW, this intercept was just announced on June 8th this year by another company.
