Some good posts in the last couple of days on the subjects of understanding the SLI potential and speculating about the strength of the shareholder base. These two subjects are going to become vitally important when it comes time to sell the Tesoro property, assuming the drills pull out what we are all expecting.

Last week I was at a gathering of shareholders and I was both taken aback and also a little disappointed at the lack of knowledge displayed by some of the shareholders, as evidenced by some of their questions. It is apparent to me that many of our shareholders know little about SLI other than SLI might be sitting on "some kind of huge gold find". At the same time I feel quite confident that our biggest shareholders are likely well-informed about the current state and potential of SLI.

So remember everyone, if you consider yourself an informed shareholder and you understand the potential, take every opportunity to educate as many less-informed shareholders as you can. Explain to them everything you know, point them to the Agoracom board, point them to the link library, walk them through the information, explain the exploration plan and how everything is going exactly according to plan, explain that SLI is only proving up a PORTION of their overall property holdings in the Tesoro, and there are other claims and properties that have yet to be explored. This will only strengthen our position when the negotiation stage is reached.

We can't prevent someone from selling their shares at $3, $5, or $10, but they are much less likely to do so if they understand that $100/share is not only possible, it is, IMO, actually conservative given the math presented to date. I still have a tough time typing that kind of statement because $100+ per share seems too good to be true and goes against my conservative nature, but the evidence and facts presented to date fully support this projection....again, assuming the drills prove what we are all hoping for.
