Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
I beleive insiders hold somewhere around 10% indirectly, this number could be way off. You would have to go to SEDAR and dig it up. Someone else here may be able to answer that of the top of their head, but i cant at the moment. I beleive most people like to see management holding at least 10% of the outstanding shares, so we are around that. Also,IMO, the tightly held shares would contribute substantially to that company strength factor. I,m ok with that.
I beleive the recent shares were sold for cash that was probably needed. These guys get paid little and need mon ey like all of us. Lori sold on the run up last year, BUT turned around and scooped up shares later taking them into safe hands. Also, I beleive she exercised some of her options and warrants. In these exploration stocks, usually insiders will sell some stock and turn around and exercise their warrants/options, its a common thing and is how some insiders get their yearly wages. I have to say with SLI , that there has been very little insider activity.
Someone else might like to elaborate on this, whereas I didn,t dig up supportive material. But I,m happy with what I see and feel it doesn,t warrant digging.
