Message: Mon. AM Fodder for the Mill

So while patiently awaiting news like everyone else, I got around to crunching some numbers and will throw them out here to be ground down.

For SLI, the last NR in which a bulk sample was reported came out on February 3 reporting 3.74 oz/t gold. Since then all we've had is a NR dated July 27 with an assay result of 2.51 oz/t from the newly discovered N1 vein.

Now I'm hoping there has been more material dug up. I believe that at the April Corporate presentation in Edmonton it was said that work was being done on the A4 vein, the one above the ovoid. I'm hoping some of that material has gone to the lab and mill in recent months.

So now switching to results released by our neighbour, Dynacor. For the third quarter they reported 10,500 oz of gold milled.

The last reported capacity of their mill is 180 t/d per February 24, 2009 NR. Now taking 180 t/d over a 90 day period we can say they milled up to 16,200 t of feed stock. This assumes 7 day a week operation with no shut-downs for maintenance or shortages of feed stock.

If we take 10,500 oz and divide by 16,200 t we get a grade of at least .648 oz/t. Over a large sample, that is a fairly high grade average by any measure.

I believe that it indicates that the ore in the region, both from Dynacor's operations and from the locals (a category we can include ourselves in) is of high grade.

There's gold in them there hills!

I am just waiting for news from some of our bulk sampling.
