I'm certain I'll have a lot of questions once I try to wrap my pea-brain around the concepts contained in that article, and what it could mean for the BGGC.
One thing that stands out, just with the briefest of reflection, is that there is still a lot of controversy with the syngenetic theory. Much like when everyone contended the world was flat, and Columbus was about to sail to his imminent death off the edge.
To have a wildly differing view than what is commonly accepted will usually get one ostracized and ridiculed, but sometimes through persistence, it will also get one recognition as a pioneer and has economic benefits as well. Let's hope the reason Kinross is on board is they see the potential to beat the rest of the community to the punch with some new found understanding of the area and it's potential.
