Great find longbomb. I wonder what is the differcne between "pristine gold grains" referenced in Lake Shore's NR and "fine-grained specks" SGX talks about in their NR? Did SGX also have "pristine gold grains"? What's the difference? Anyone?

FYI for those new to SGX, we were told about grain gold or free gold in the overburden in Sep 2, 2008 SGX NR:

"Free gold in the grab and channel samples occurs as fine-grained specks intimately associated with sulphides. Free gold is also apparent in the soil above the vein."

Also in Agoracom response just after NR with a little more explanation:

Dear shareholder,

Thank you for your inquiry. That photo will be on our website later today and it is Visible gold that we panned in the soils directly next to the Golden Extension vein during our site visit Aug 26. The analysts saw the VG first hand and did panning also. VG in the soils is a leaching from the actual bedrock and a natural occurence in some cases where there’s a collection of high grade gold mineralization.

Panning for gold...

There is a picture of a what appear to be gold flakes in a pan on the latest Agoracom SGX Fact Sheet.

Can management please elaborate on this revelation? i.e. Is panning for gold a normal prospecting procedure for properties like SE Jacobus? Is the area favourable for panning for gold? Historically, does the area have a history of panning for gold? Has SGX learned more about the geology of the area as a result of this exercise? etc.

IMO this picture is significant. Thanks in advance!
