Shareholder protection plans aren't all they're cracked up to be, it just sounds good and gives the nervous nellies a warm fuzzy feeling.

All a shareholder protection plan does is delay a hostile takeover and give the company more time to come up with a white knight. For a forum that is largely complaining of mgmt's progress and drill results and lack of NR's and the timing of a NR when it is released, a takeover bid is a long ways off. Look at Kodiak: they've been slogging away at it for over a year and amassed some really good discoveries and their share price is languishing, and they haven't had a hostile bid yet.

It seems as though there's more than just a couple of folks on this board who are fixated on the entirely wrong things. Sage has cash, good properties, and is looking to focus on the ones who will garner the most bang under these conditions.

I don't believe anyone out there expected this severe of a downturn in the markets, for this sustained a session, and that would include Sage and most of the investors here. So the fact that they are adapting their strategies to weather the financial storm shows me they are planning ahead.

Here's Sage's plan in a nutshell for you:

They want to make a significant gold discovery of their own, and are taking steps to make that happen in Jacobus.

Perhaps some people would like to be apprised of what colour tie Nigel Lees will wear to the office every day, and comment on the appropriateness of that decision?

And now, I'm putting you on ignore because I've been nice enough to respond to you, and all I get is griping. So when I don't ever respond to you in the future, it's because I'm blissfully unaware of your existence.

Buh-bye.
